Our Vision
To provide a safe heaven filled with hope and opportunity for Barracks youths who will promote respect, understanding and cooperation while working to eradicate tribal sentiment, political instability, cultural disparity, religious intolerance and all forms of discrimination through peaceful coexistence.
EGOBAFF is a Non-Governmental Organization established 7 years ago with General Assembly consisting of founding members and other members who have joined the organization after its establishment to oversee and deal with all issues concerning the children/youth and women in the barracks. The EGOBAFF comprises young men and women who pass through the Yakubu Gowon Barracks now known as Mambilla Barracks as children/wards of majority the retired soldiers and officers..
OBJECTIVES
1. Youths Empowerment through skill acquisition and mentorship.
2. Care for women and children in the Barracks in Areas of social welfare
3. promoting Universal Basic Education in the Barracks through provision of education materials to schools and pupils/students
4. Help protect the rights of abandoned families of deceased military personnel through guidance and cancelling.
5. Care for women and children in the Barracks in area of social welfare.
